Any librarian would tell you about their lifelong love of reading, but my love of books goes one dimension deeper. One of my greatest joys is talking to the people behind the books: the writers themselves. I’m endlessly curious about what sparks their stories, where they like to write and who they are beyond the name on the spine of a book. Something magical happens after I hear a writer speak or have the chance to meet them. I become fiercely loyal-eager to read their latest release, their entire backlist, every book they have “blurbed”…honestly, I’d probably read their grocery list.

Through these conversations, I hope you’ll come to see these authors the way I do: as remarkable and thoughtful individuals who just so happen to be incredible storytellers.
